The Naval Shipbuilding College shares excitement of 2019 National Careers Week (13 – 17 May 2019) which kicks off today themed ‘Career. It’s more than just a Job’.


National Careers Week is an initiative of the Career Industry Council of Australia and aims to celebrate careers, career development, career development services, and career development practitioners and to promote the economic, social and personal benefits of career development.


The Naval Shipbuilding College is hosting a Facebook Live Q&A session tomorrow at 4:30pm (Australian Central Standard Time). Our expert panel will be taking questions throughout the live chat that will provide unique insights into what the Naval Shipbuilding College is achieving and our plans for the future.

Australia’s revitalised shipbuilding industry will offer a broad range of roles and career paths in conjunction with the Commonwealth Government’s Naval Shipbuilding Plan. More than 15,000 people are ultimately expected to be employed directly or indirectly for the continuous shipbuilding program which includes the full supply chain and providers of sustainment services.
