The Naval Shipbuilding College is leading the way in developing and building a cost-effective, employment read Australian workforce to support Australia’s naval industry.

We are working collaboratively with shipbuilding companies – big and small to identify what jobs will be required, where and when.

The NSC collects and collates information as the ‘trusted source of truth’ for the overall shipbuilding time-phased skill demand requirements.

In collaboration with our partners, we maintain a forecast of workforce demand and regularly review and refine the data across critical roles and skills.

This collaborative, data-driven approach works to establish the naval shipbuilding workforce at the required time, in the required numbers, and with the required skills.
